Al Gore has finally purchased his long sought television network from Vivendi in order to provide an "irreverant and bold" news network to young adults.
Where is the audience for this product? They are likely already likely watching "irreverant and bold" programming on MTV. Gore seems under the impression that the demographic that spends its time watching "Jackass" is really thirsty for a quirky news and information channel.
Add that Gore dash of charisma... how can it lose?
