All we ever wanted...vacation, have to get away... yeah, it's the Go-Go's, so?
Well, having shot our wad during this highly charged and relevant electoral season, we're going on semi-hiatus. There is a remote possibility of light blogging for the next week, but we'll likely be too occupied with onboard festivities as we board the USS Thank-God-The-Election-Is-Over on a 7 day cruise through the Carribean. I'll have an umbrella drink for you.
When we return we fully expect:
Fallujah to have fallen to Iraqi and Coalition forces
The election result to remain unchanged
The Cowboys to win in Cincinatti and cover the spread
Scott Peterson to be contemplating his soon-to-be-over life while being traded around C-block for a pack of cigarettes.
In the meantime, if you've come here only to find I'm gone, I recommend the following reading. As I've mentioned in posts past, I don't blogroll, because the list becomes unwieldy and you can never list them all without leaving someone off. But we've mentioned sites in the past worthy of your perusal - so here they are:
Slings & Arrows - Bryon doesn't leave any rounds unfired, and his quantity is as impressive as his quality
Just On The Other Side - good friend Allan documents the outrageous antics of people who do things that just don't make any sense
Polipundit - a voluminous compendium of the days events by a quintet of smart, active writers
And from those jumping off points (I mean did I really need to list Instapundit?) the best of the web is surely a click away.
See you all in a week, and thanks for stopping by... I'll pass out in my cabin for each of you (ah Hell, who am I kidding, I don't even drink...)
