Friggin' server...

Well, in the last four days the server has died at least once every day. Condemned a bunch of drives at first, but it now looks like the SCSI controller or hotplug backplane is a likely culprit, with the SCSI controller throwing parity errors in the event log before the system stumbles to a halt like a drunk falling down an icy stairwell...

All of this during a very busy two weeks have kept updates low. Fear not... we plan to force migrate to a different server in the next couple of days, and hopefully things will calm down enough to start adding to the blog, rather than just keeping it online...
